Newgenico Limited, Hong Kong, supplies the Mecharim service. Mecharim is a trademark of Newgenico Limited. Paddle sells the subscription. Paddle is the merchant of record and the authorised reseller: you pay Paddle, and Paddle collects tax and issues the invoice. The Paddle contracting entity depends on where you buy, as set out in the Paddle Buyer Terms.
The charge, tax, statutory withdrawal, and any refund of money are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms and the Paddle Refund Policy. If those terms and this page differ on a payment, Paddle's terms apply. This page is the supplier policy. It explains how to cancel, how to report a product defect, and what happens to access. It should be read with our Terms of Service.
1. Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then, and you are not charged again after that.
Cancel in the Paddle customer portal. The link is in your subscription confirmation email, labelled "Manage subscription". You can also request cancellation at paddle.net.
2. Refunds of the charge
A refund of money is decided and paid by Paddle under the Paddle Refund Policy. Mecharim does not decide those requests, and Mecharim does not replace a payment refund with account credit.
That policy includes statutory withdrawal rights for consumers. The period depends on the country of purchase. It includes 14 days from the first subscription payment for consumers in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, and the UK, and a new 14-day period when a UK annual subscription renews. Other countries have their own periods, including 14 days for Turkey and Israel, 7 days for South Korea, Brazil, China, and Canada, and 5 days for Singapore. Later renewal payments are outside the EU withdrawal right except where the Paddle Refund Policy says otherwise. Nothing on this page removes a right that the law or Paddle's policy gives you.
To ask Paddle for a withdrawal or a refund:
- EU consumers can use the withdrawal button in the Paddle customer portal during the withdrawal period. The portal link is in the transaction email.
- Anyone can submit a request from the support link on the receipt, or at paddle.net under "Request refund".
Where a refund is due, Paddle returns it to the original payment method. Paddle's policy states the time limits.
3. Product defects
If a material defect prevents you from using the features described for your plan, contact Mecharim first. Email billing@mecharim.com or use our contact page, and include:
- your organization name and account email;
- the invoice, receipt, or Paddle transaction reference;
- what failed, and when.
If we cannot fix it, contact Paddle using the methods in section 2 and include our reply. Where there is evidence of a material defect, Paddle issues the refund under applicable consumer protection law.
4. Access after a refund or cancellation
When Paddle approves a refund of the subscription charge, paid access to the service ends. A refund of sales tax only does not end access.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not by itself refund the current period. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, unless a refund of that charge is approved.
5. Chargebacks
Contact Paddle before you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer. Paddle investigates the dispute. Paid access may be suspended while a chargeback is open and restored if the dispute is reversed.
6. Tax
Plan prices are exclusive of tax. Paddle adds the applicable tax at checkout and remits it. A business that was charged sales tax and is registered for that tax can ask Paddle for a refund of the tax within 60 days of the transaction, with a valid tax number or tax-exempt certificate, as described in the Paddle Buyer Terms. That request does not refund the plan price.
7. Changes
We may update this supplier page. The version and date at the top of this page show when it was last revised. The Paddle Refund Policy in effect at the time of a transaction governs that transaction.
